Can I load a copy of SESATS X (10) on multiple machines?
There is no restriction on the number of downloads or copies of SESATS X (10) for a particular member.

I am not sure if I need to take SESATS X (10) or SESATS IX (9) for ABTS Maintenance of Certification (MOC).
If your ABTS certificate expires in 2010 or 2011 and you have been approved for the Maintenance of Certification cycle, you will need to take and complete SESATS X (10). The ABTS will send you an email that will give you instructions on how to obtain a free copy of SESATS X (10).
If your ABTS certificate expires in 2012, you will need to take and pass the MOC secured exam, which is based off of questions from SESATS IX (9). If you are not sure when your certificate expires, you should contact the ABTS office (312-202-5900 or sesats@abts.org).
Do I need administrative privileges to install SESAT X (10)?
Administrative access is required to install Adobe AIR.

How long does the SESATS X (10)installation take?
Installation is dependent on network speed and whether the Adobe AIR runtime has been previously installed. Initial installation can take between 10-20 minutes.

I downloaded my SESATS X (10) application to my desktop, but when I attempt to install it, I recieve a message that say I don't have permission to proceed with the install

I downloaded SESATS X (10) to my institution desktop and then installed it on my laptop as well. I decided to install on an additional copy on my home PC/Mac, so I copied it the downloaded SESATS AIR application to a USB drive (or burned it on a CD/DVD) and brought it home to install there. However, when I attempted to install it, I received numerous errors:

My coupon has expired
ABTS diplomates have 3 months in which to redeem their coupon. After that time the diplomate must contact the ABTS to acquire a new coupon.

Recertification
The recertification cycle for the American Board of Thoracic Surgery is managed through the Board off (www.abts.org, or 312-202-5900). Individuals wishing to recertify must make application through the ABTS office. When the complete recertification application is approved, Diplomates will be notified by the ABTS and sent a coupon code via email to redeem for the SESATS X(10) exam. ABTS diplomates have 3 months in which to redeem their coupon. After that time the diplomate must contact the ABTS to acquire a new coupon.
Where is my CME certificate?
Once your final results are uploaded to CTSNet, the Penn State Office of Continuing Medical Education reviews the result data and emails a PDF certificate. This review process will normally occur within 2 weeks of final result upload. If you have not received your CME certificate within 2 weeks and have confirmed that the email was not blocked by firewalls or SPAM filters contact the Penn State Office here:
